🏯 金閣寺：金色に輝く極楽浄土
金閣寺（きんかくじ）は、正式名称を鹿苑寺（ろくおんじ）と言い、京都を代表する寺院の一つ。足利義満が1397年に建てた山荘が起源で、金箔で覆われた舎利殿が特に有名です。池に映る金閣の姿は「逆さ金閣」と呼ばれ、四季折々の美しさを見せます。
金閣寺の建築様式は、一階が寝殿造り（しんでんづくり）、二階が武家造り（ぶけづくり）、三階が禅宗様（ぜんしゅうよう）と、三つの異なる様式が調和しているのが特徴です。屋根の上には鳳凰（ほうおう）の像が飾られ、金閣全体が極楽浄土を表現していると言われています。
