● 長野びんずる祭（ながのびんずるまつり）
長野市最大の夏祭り。信州を代表する祭りの一つで、観客も参加できる「輪踊り」が最大の魅力。数千人が輪になって踊る姿は圧巻です。

● 新潟まつり（にいがたまつり）
新潟市最大の祭り。花火大会、民謡流し、パレードなど多彩なイベントが3日間にわたって開催されます。特に新潟港の花火大会は圧巻。

● 富山おわら風の盆（とやまおわらかぜのぼん）
富山市八尾地区で行われる情緒あふれる盆踊り。哀愁を帯びた三味線と胡弓の音色に乗せて、編み笠をかぶった踊り手たちが優雅に舞います。

● 金沢百万石まつり（かなざわひゃくまんごくまつり）
加賀百万石の時代に思いを馳せる金沢最大の祭り。前田利公が金沢城に入城した故事にちなむ、絢爛豪華な「加賀鳶（かがとび）」のパレードや百万石行列が圧巻。
