Tokyo Disney Resort is in Urayasu, Chiba—not central Tokyo—and contains two separate parks: Tokyo Disneyland and Tokyo DisneySea. A good day is not measured by the number of rides collected. Choose the park that fits your group, secure a dated ticket, learn the official App’s time-slot systems, protect meals and rest, and keep a route home.
Choose one park by experience, not by fear of missing out

Fantasy Springs opened at Tokyo DisneySea in 2024; it is not a park opening in 2026. One standard 1-Day Passport designates one park. A limited-period Park Hopper may appear under its own conditions, but never assume a two-park ticket exists for your date.
Buy a dated ticket first; annual passes are not on sale
Buy before arrival through the official ticket page or an officially listed channel: park ticket booths do not sell ordinary admission. Prices are variable by date and may change. Adults are 18+, juniors 12–17, children 4–11, and children aged three and under enter free.
For currently published November 2026 dates, the official page shows the adult 1-Day Passport from ¥8,900, while the live calendar shows some dates at ¥10,900. These are date-specific evidence, not a permanent price promise. Select the exact date and park before paying; check change/refund rules and avoid unofficial resale.
Budget in layers, not with a fictional fixed total
- Admission: exact dated ticket for every guest aged four or over.
- Transport: JR to Maihama, optional Disney Resort Line, or bus/parking.
- Food: meals, snacks and water; dietary choices may limit locations.
- Optional time: Disney Premier Access per person, per eligible experience.
- Shopping: set a per-person cap before entering.
- Stay: room rate, taxes, breakfast and transport; never quote “from” prices without a real date and occupancy.
As of the verification date, Premier Access examples range from ¥1,000 to ¥3,500 per access, and several prices change from September 2026. Availability is not guaranteed. Build a no-paid-access plan first, then decide whether one purchase solves a genuine priority.
Address, nearest station and park-specific route
- Resort address: 1-1 Maihama, Urayasu, Chiba 279-0031, Japan
- Nearest JR station: Maihama, Keiyo/Musashino Line
- From Tokyo Station: approximately 15 minutes by train according to the resort; add the long walk to the Keiyo platforms and transfer time
- Tokyo Disneyland: about seven minutes on foot from Maihama
- Tokyo DisneySea: walk to Resort Gateway Station, then about nine minutes by Disney Resort Line to Tokyo DisneySea Station
- Regular closure: no uniform weekly closed day; check each park’s operating calendar, closures and shortened hours
Use public transport where practical: the resort warns of road and parking congestion. Check the last JR/monorail and one earlier option. Do not schedule a non-changeable airport connection immediately after park closing.

Download and update the App, log in, link every party ticket and test payment before the visit. Carry a power bank. Never overlap attraction, show and meal slots without walking and toilet time.
Use a three-priority day, not a minute-by-minute conquest
- Check operating hours, attraction closures and weather the night before.
- Choose three shared priorities and one substitute for each.
- Arrive with enough time for the entrance process, but do not claim “one hour early” guarantees an outcome.
- After entry, check time-sensitive App services and reserve food/rest around them.
- Move by area instead of crossing the park repeatedly.
- Reassess after lunch: fatigue, heat and a happy child outrank the original spreadsheet.
Official advice notes that popular attractions may be easier in the evening and farther attractions may be less busy just after opening, but this is guidance, not a guarantee. Posted wait time can change and a queue or experience can suspend.
Protect meals, hydration and dietary safety
Priority Seating can generally be reserved from one month before the visit, with same-day online reservations from 9:00, subject to availability. Mobile Order avoids the ordering queue at eligible restaurants, not every wait or seat search. A slot can sell out or be suspended.
Check official menus and contact the resort before travel for allergy, plant-based or religious needs. “No visible meat” does not prove stock, sauce or shared equipment is suitable. Guests with severe allergy should carry prescribed medication and a Japanese explanation; never rely solely on an App filter.
Children, disability and sensory needs require attraction-level checks
Height, posture, transfer and emergency-evacuation requirements differ by attraction. Children under seven must be accompanied by a person aged 16 or over on attractions. Never separate simply to beat a queue.
The Disability Access Service is not a queue-shortening pass. Eligible overseas guests need an equivalent original disability certificate and must register under current rules. Separate Wait Service has different eligibility; old Guest Assistance Cards are no longer available. Some attractions require an able-bodied companion or the ability to transfer/evacuate. Read the official Barrier Free guide and ask about the exact attraction.
Plan stroller parking, medication, quiet breaks, hearing/visual aids and identification for children. A wheelchair-accessible route does not mean every attraction can be ridden without transfer.
Weather, clothing, photography and shared space
- For heat: start hydrated, use shade/indoor breaks, replace electrolytes and stop for dizziness or nausea.
- For rain/typhoon: use non-slip footwear and compact rain protection; verify closures and transport before traveling.
- For cold/wind: layer clothing and protect children during long outdoor waits.
- Follow same-day rules for tripods, selfie sticks, filming, costumes and performance photography.
- Do not reserve public space with unattended bags, block tactile paving or livestream strangers at close range.
Shows, outdoor attractions and fireworks can change or cancel because of weather. No App purchase makes an unsafe day obligatory.
Hotels, return route and final checklist
Tokyo DisneySea Fantasy Springs Hotel opened on 6 June 2024, not in 2026. Disney Hotels, Official Hotels, Partner Hotels and Good Neighbor Hotels have different locations, transport and ticket benefits. Verify the exact plan: a hotel name alone does not promise park entry, early entry, breakfast, shuttle or cancellation flexibility.
- Buy the dated park ticket and save it offline.
- Confirm hours, closures, three priorities and dining needs.
- Install/update/login/link tickets; test the card and carry power.
- Save Japanese address, hotel and last-return route.
- Pack weather gear, medicine, water plan and child/accessibility supplies.
- Screenshot reservations, but use the live App and Cast Member instructions on the day.
