　　🏔 越後駒ヶ岳（2,003m）新潟

　　越後の山々を代表する名峰。日本二百名山でもある。
JR小出駅からバス約1時間→枝折峠登山口
登山シーズン：6月上旬〜10月下旬
残雪期注意。稜線は風が強い。

　　🏔 平ヶ岳（2,141m）新潟・群馬

　　山頂部は広大な台地状。池塘が点在。
JR六日町駅からバス約1時間30分→平ヶ岳登山口
登山シーズン：7月上旬〜10月上旬
アプローチが長い。1泊2日推奨。

　　🏔 巻機山（1,967m）新潟・群馬

　　ブナの原生林と池塘が美しい山。
JR六日町駅からバス約50分→巻機山登山口
登山シーズン：6月上旬〜10月下旬

　　🏔 燧ヶ岳（2,356m）福島

　　尾瀬の最高峰。尾瀬ヶ原と共に楽しめる。
JR会津田島駅からバス約1時間30分→御池登山口
登山シーズン：6月上旬〜10月下旬
尾瀬は入山協力金（1,000円）が必要。木道歩行マナー厳守。

　　🏔 至仏山（2,228m）群馬

　　尾瀬を代表する山。蛇紋岩の特異な植物群落。
JR沼田駅からバス約1時間30分→鳩待峠
登山シーズン：7月上旬〜10月中旬（蛇紋岩の保護のため入山時期制限あり）
至仏山は7月1日から10月31日まで入山可能（環境保護のため）。尾瀬のルール厳守。

　　🏔 谷川岳（1,977m）新潟・群馬

　　ロープウェイあり。日本三大岩場として有名。トマの耳・オキの耳の双耳峰。
JR上毛高原駅からバス約40分→谷川岳ロープウェイ
登山シーズン：5月中旬〜11月上旬（ロープウェイは年中）
岩場の難所あり。冬は極度の厳冬期。遭難多発山のため装備必須。

　　🏔 雨飾山（1,963m）新潟・長野

　　ブナ林と荒菅沢の湿原が美しい。
JR南小谷駅からバス約30分→雨飾山登山口
登山シーズン：6月中旬〜10月下旬
登山道が急峻な箇所あり。

　　🏔 苗場山（2,145m）新潟・長野

　　山頂に広大な湿原が広がる。日本二百名山。
JR越後湯沢駅からバス約1時間→苗場スキー場
登山シーズン：7月上旬〜10月上旬
湿原保護のため木道歩行厳守。

　　🏔 妙高山（2,454m）新潟

　　北アルプスに匹敵する雄大さ。日本三百名山。
JR妙高高原駅からバス約30分→妙高山登山口
登山シーズン：6月上旬〜10月中旬
活火山のため火山情報確認。

　　🏔 火打山（2,462m）新潟

　　妙高山と並ぶ新潟の双璧。高層湿原が美しい。
JR妙高高原駅からバス約30分→笹ヶ峰登山口
登山シーズン：6月中旬〜10月中旬
コースタイム長め。天候急変注意。

　　🏔 高妻山（2,353m）新潟・長野

　　戸隠連峰の最高峰。信仰の山。
JR長野駅からバス約1時間→戸隠キャンプ場
登山シーズン：6月中旬〜10月下旬
岩場あり。鎖場あり。

　　🏔 男体山（2,486m）栃木

　　日光のシンボル。二荒山神社の御神体。
JR日光駅からバス約40分→中禅寺温泉→登山口
登山シーズン：5月上旬〜10月下旬（神社の開山期間中のみ）
登拝料1,000円。開山期間は4月下旬〜11月中旬。

　　🏔 日光白根山（2,578m）栃木・群馬

　　関東最高峰。ロープウェイあり。
JR日光駅からバス約1時間→丸沼高原スキー場→ロープウェイ
登山シーズン：6月上旬〜10月下旬（ロープウェイは4月〜11月）
山頂は関東最高峰で気温低め。熊注意。

　　🏔 皇海山（2,144m）栃木・群馬

　　日本三大急登の一つ。険しい山。
JR沼田駅からバス約1時間→皇海山登山口
登山シーズン：6月上旬〜10月下旬
急登続きで体力が必要。日帰り可能だが早朝出発必須。

　　🏔 武尊山（2,158m）群馬

　　上越国境の名峰。日本三百名山。
JR上毛高原駅からバス約1時間→武尊山登山口
登山シーズン：6月上旬〜10月下旬

　　🏔 赤城山（1,828m）群馬

　　関東有数の大火山。大沼・覚満淵などの美しい景観。
JR前橋駅からバス約1時間→赤城山ビジターセンター
登山シーズン：4月中旬〜11月下旬
ドライブウェイあり。年間を通して多くの登山者。

　　🏔 草津白根山（2,171m）群馬

　　現在も活動中の活火山。湯釜のエメラルドグリーンの火口湖。
JR長野原草津口駅からバス約30分→草津温泉→スキー場
登山シーズン：6月下旬〜10月中旬
活火山のため火山情報必須。現在も噴気活動あり。規制区域に注意。

　　🏔 四阿山（2,354m）群馬・長野

　　なだらかな山容で登りやすい。浅間連峰の一峰。
JR小諸駅からバス約40分→四阿山登山口
登山シーズン：5月中旬〜11月上旬
家族連れでも登りやすい百名山。

　　🏔 浅間山（2,568m）群馬・長野

　　日本有数の活火山。常に噴煙を上げる迫力ある姿。
JR軽井沢駅からバス約30分→浅間山登山口
登山シーズン：火口周辺は噴火警戒レベルにより立入規制あり（登山前に必ず確認）
活火山のため火口周辺は常時立ち入り規制あり。浅間山は火口から2km以内は立入禁止区域。前掛山までは登頂可能な場合あり。事前の火山情報確認絶対必須。

　　🏔 筑波山（877m）茨城

　　百名山の中で最も標高が低い（唯一の1,000m以下）。日本百名山最古参。
JRつくば駅からバス約40分→筑波山神社（ケーブルカーあり）
登山シーズン：周年登山可能（ただし冬季は凍結注意）
ケーブルカー・ロープウェイ完備。初心者でも登りやすい。都心から日帰り可能。

　　🏔 両神山（1,723m）埼玉

　　埼玉県の最高峰に近い岩峰。鎖場あり。
西武秩父駅からバス約1時間→両神山登山口
登山シーズン：5月中旬〜11月下旬
岩場・鎖場あり。天候悪化時は撤退判断必要。

　　🏔 雲取山（2,017m）埼玉・東京・山梨

　　東京都の最高峰。東京都心から最も近い百名山。
JR奥多摩駅からバス約30分→鴨沢バス停→徒歩
登山シーズン：5月中旬〜11月下旬（冬期は積雪あり）
山小屋あり（泊まり可能）。日帰りも可能だが早朝出発必須。

　　🏔 甲武信ヶ岳（2,475m）埼玉・長野・山梨

　　三県境に位置する山。千曲川（信濃川）の源流。
JR塩山駅からバス約1時間→徳和登山口
登山シーズン：6月上旬〜10月下旬
コースタイム長め。1泊2日推奨。

　　🏔 金峰山（2,599m）長野・山梨

　　五丈岩がシンボルの岩峰。荒川源流。
JR小淵沢駅からバス約1時間→金峰山登山口
登山シーズン：6月上旬〜10月下旬
急峻な岩場あり。

　　🏔 瑞牆山（2,230m）山梨

　　花崗岩の奇岩・巨岩が連なる景観。
JR韮崎駅からバス約1時間→瑞牆山登山口
登山シーズン：5月中旬〜11月上旬
岩場の通過注意。

　　🏔 大菩薩嶺（2,057m）山梨

　　比較的登りやすい大衆的山。富士山の展望台として有名。
JR塩山駅からバス約1時間→上日川峠
登山シーズン：5月中旬〜11月下旬
ロッジあり。日帰り可能。

　　🏔 丹沢山（1,567m）神奈川

　　関東圏で最も人気のある山域。塔ノ岳・蛭ヶ岳との縦走が人気。
小田急線渋沢駅からバス約30分→大倉バス停→登山道
登山シーズン：周年登山可能（冬季は積雪あり）
都心からのアクセス良好。年間登山者数日本有数。週末は大混雑。

The Kanto and Koshinetsu region boasts the highest concentration of Hyakumeizan mountains in Japan, with 27 peaks. The range spans from day-trip mountains accessible from central Tokyo to serious 2,000m-class climbs.

🏔 Echigo-Komagatake (2,003m) — Niigata
A representative peak of the Echigo mountains. Also listed among the Nihon 200 Famous Mountains.
Access: ~1hr bus from JR Koide Station → Shioritoge Trailhead
Season: Early Jun to Late Oct
Notes: Watch for lingering snow. Ridge lines are very windy.

🏔 Hiragatake (2,141m) — Niigata & Gunma
The summit area forms a vast plateau dotted with alpine ponds.
Access: ~1hr 30min bus from JR Muikamachi Station → Hiragatake Trailhead
Season: Early Jul to Early Oct
Notes: Long approach. A 1-night/2-day trip recommended.

🏔 Makihata-yama (1,967m) — Niigata & Gunma
Beautiful beech primeval forest and alpine ponds.
Access: ~50min bus from JR Muikamachi Station → Makihata-yama Trailhead
Season: Early Jun to Late Oct

🏔 Hiuchigatake (2,356m) — Fukushima
The highest peak in Oze National Park. Can be enjoyed together with Ozegahara marshland.
Access: ~1hr 30min bus from JR Aizu-Tajima Station → Mikelke Trailhead
Season: Early Jun to Late Oct
Notes: Oze requires a conservation cooperation fee (¥1,000). Strictly observe boardwalk etiquette.

🏔 Shibutsu-san (2,228m) — Gunma
A representative mountain of Oze. Unique plant communities on serpentinite rock.
Access: ~1hr 30min bus from JR Numata Station → Hataodaira Pass
Season: Early Jul to Mid Oct (entry restricted for serpentinite protection)
Notes: Shibutsu-san is open Jul 1–Oct 31 for environmental protection. Strictly follow Oze rules.

🏔 Tanigawa-dake (1,977m) — Niigata & Gunma
Has a ropeway. Famous as one of Japan’s three great rock-climbing areas. Twin peaks: Toma-no-mimi and Oki-no-mimi.
Access: ~40min bus from JR Jomo-Kogen Station → Tanigawadake Ropeway
Season: Mid May to Early Nov (ropeway runs year-round)
Notes: Difficult rock sections. Extreme winter conditions. Essential gear required — this mountain sees many accidents.

🏔 Amazari-yama (1,963m) — Niigata & Nagano
Beautiful beech forest and the wetlands of Arasugezawa.
Access: ~30min bus from JR Minami-Otari Station → Amazari-yama Trailhead
Season: Mid Jun to Late Oct
Notes: Some steep sections on the trail.

🏔 Naeba-san (2,145m) — Niigata & Nagano
Vast wetlands spread across the summit. Nihon 200 Famous Mountain.
Access: ~1hr bus from JR Echigo-Yuzawa Station → Naeba Ski Resort
Season: Early Jul to Early Oct
Notes: Strictly stay on boardwalks to protect the wetlands.

🏔 Myoko-san (2,454m) — Niigata
Majestic scale rivaling the Northern Alps. Nihon 300 Famous Mountain.
Access: ~30min bus from JR Myoko-Kogen Station → Myokosan Trailhead
Season: Early Jun to Mid Oct
Notes: Active volcano — check volcanic activity reports.

🏔 Hiuchi-yama (2,462m) — Niigata
One of Niigata’s twin great peaks alongside Myoko-san. Beautiful high-altitude wetlands.
Access: ~30min bus from JR Myoko-Kogen Station → Sasagamine Trailhead
Season: Mid Jun to Mid Oct
Notes: Long course time. Watch for sudden weather changes.

🏔 Kozu-san (2,353m) — Niigata & Nagano
The highest peak of the Togakushi mountain range. A sacred mountain.
Access: ~1hr bus from JR Nagano Station → Togakushi Campground
Season: Mid Jun to Late Oct
Notes: Rocky sections and chain sections.

🏔 Nantai-san (2,486m) — Tochigi
The symbol of Nikko. Sacred body of Futarasan Shrine.
Access: ~40min bus from JR Nikko Station → Chuzenji Onsen → Trailhead
Season: Early May to Late Oct (only during shrine’s open season)
Notes: Climbing fee ¥1,000. Open season is late Apr to mid Nov.

🏔 Nikko-Shirane-san (2,578m) — Tochigi & Gunma
The highest peak in the Kanto region. Has a ropeway.
Access: ~1hr bus from JR Nikko Station → Marunuma Kogen Ski Resort → Ropeway
Season: Early Jun to Late Oct (ropeway runs Apr–Nov)
Notes: The summit is the highest in Kanto so temperatures are low. Watch for bears.

🏔 Sukai-san (2,144m) — Tochigi & Gunma
One of Japan’s three great steep climbs. A rugged mountain.
Access: ~1hr bus from JR Numata Station → Sukaisan Trailhead
Season: Early Jun to Late Oct
Notes: Continuous steep climbs require stamina. Day-trip possible but an early start is essential.

🏔 Hotaka-san (2,158m) — Gunma
A famous peak on the Joetsu border. Nihon 300 Famous Mountain.
Access: ~1hr bus from JR Jomo-Kogen Station → Hotakasan Trailhead
Season: Early Jun to Late Oct

🏔 Akagi-yama (1,828m) — Gunma
One of Kanto’s major volcanic mountains. Beautiful scenery including Onuma pond and Kakumanbuchi.
Access: ~1hr bus from JR Maebashi Station → Akagiyama Visitor Center
Season: Mid Apr to Late Nov
Notes: Driveway available. Many visitors year-round.

🏔 Kusatsu-Shirane-san (2,171m) — Gunma
An active volcano. The emerald green crater lake of Yugama.
Access: ~30min bus from JR Naganohara-Kusatsuguchi Station → Kusatsu Onsen → Ski resort
Season: Late Jun to Mid Oct
Notes: Active volcano — volcanic information essential. Ongoing fumarole activity. Watch restricted areas.

🏔 Azuma-yama (2,354m) — Gunma & Nagano
Gentle mountain shape, easy to climb. One of the Asama mountain range peaks.
Access: ~40min bus from JR Komoro Station → Azumayama Trailhead
Season: Mid May to Early Nov
Notes: An easy Hyakumeizan suitable for families.

🏔 Asama-yama (2,568m) — Gunma & Nagano
One of Japan’s major active volcanoes. A powerful sight constantly emitting smoke.
Access: ~30min bus from JR Karuizawa Station → Asamayama Trailhead
Season: Access restrictions around the crater depend on the eruption warning level (check before climbing)
Notes: Active volcano — area around crater is permanently restricted. Zone within 2km of Asama’s crater is off-limits. Mae-kake-yama may be climbable in some conditions. Advance volcano information check is absolutely essential.

🏔 Tsukuba-san (877m) — Ibaraki
The lowest altitude among all Hyakumeizan (the only one under 1,000m). The most long-standing Hyakumeizan peak.
Access: ~40min bus from JR Tsukuba Station → Tsukubasan Shrine (cable car available)
Season: Year-round (watch for ice in winter)
Notes: Cable car and ropeway available. Easy for beginners. Day-trip possible from central Tokyo.

🏔 Ryogami-san (1,723m) — Saitama
A rocky peak near the highest point in Saitama Prefecture. Has chain sections.
Access: ~1hr bus from Seibu Chichibu Station → Ryogami-san Trailhead
Season: Mid May to Late Nov
Notes: Rocky and chain sections. Be prepared to turn back if weather deteriorates.

🏔 Kumotori-yama (2,017m) — Saitama, Tokyo & Yamanashi
The highest peak in Tokyo. The Hyakumeizan closest to central Tokyo.
Access: ~30min bus from JR Okutama Station → Kamosawa Bus Stop → on foot
Season: Mid May to Late Nov (snow in winter)
Notes: Mountain hut available (overnight possible). Day-trip possible but an early start essential.

🏔 Kobushigatake (2,475m) — Saitama, Nagano & Yamanashi
Located on the border of three prefectures. The source of the Chikuma River (Shinano River).
Access: ~1hr bus from JR Enzan Station → Tokuwa Trailhead
Season: Early Jun to Late Oct
Notes: Long course time. A 1-night/2-day trip recommended.

🏔 Kinpu-san (2,599m) — Nagano & Yamanashi
A rocky peak symbolized by Gojo-iwa rock. Source of the Ara River.
Access: ~1hr bus from JR Kobuchizawa Station → Kinpusan Trailhead
Season: Early Jun to Late Oct
Notes: Steep rocky sections.

🏔 Mizugaki-yama (2,230m) — Yamanashi
A landscape of unusual granite rock formations and boulders.
Access: ~1hr bus from JR Nirasaki Station → Mizugakiyama Trailhead
Season: Mid May to Early Nov
Notes: Caution when passing rocky sections.

🏔 Daibosatsu-rei (2,057m) — Yamanashi
A relatively easy, popular mountain. Famous as a viewpoint for Mt. Fuji.
Access: ~1hr bus from JR Enzan Station → Kamihikawa Pass
Season: Mid May to Late Nov
Notes: Lodge available. Day-trip possible.

🏔 Tanzawa-san (1,567m) — Kanagawa
The most popular mountain area in the Kanto region. Traverses to Tono-dake and Hirugatake are popular.
Access: ~30min bus from Odakyu Line Shibusawa Station → Okura Bus Stop → Trail
Season: Year-round (snow in winter)
Notes: Excellent access from central Tokyo. Among the highest annual climber counts in Japan. Very crowded on weekends.
